Books with breakfast

Chase has really liked his baby animals book the last couple of days so this morning for breakfast he just had to bring it along. He was skimming it as he ate his oatmeal. I think the book got some oatmeal too. He is doing awesome with his animal sounds, and he recently learned the sign for pig. Way to go Chase!

Chase's "beep beep" has been a huge hit this summer. He just LOVES it!! His latest trick is riding it down the driveway with his feet in the air saying "weeeee". Yes we stand at the bottom and catch him. He knows the road is a "no no". Starting at the top

Cousins

A few weeks ago we got to hang out with our three neices(they live in Michigan) at Grandpa and Grandma Graves house. Of course Uncle Paul, Aunt Steph and Aunt Jodi were there too! It's pretty crazy with all the kids so I don't usually get very many photos but here are a few. Madison turned 3 in April, Chase is 2 and the twins, Paige and Summer, will be 2 in October. They are just 3 months younger than Chase. Chase is out numbered for sure! Enjoy! Love this picture!! I have so many pictures like this when I was younger with my cousins! Too bad we didn't get smiles from ANYONE! Thanks for sending the picture Uncle Paul.

What does a frog say?

One of Chase's favorite words lately is "ib-bit"(let's just forget the r). We went to Winona Lake last week with some friends and Chase didn't really care for the water but LOVED the giant frog at the park. We love to ask him what a frog says just to hear his response, "ib-bit, ib-bit".

Myrtle Beach

I had the privelage of going on a girls trip last weekend(the reason for me slacking on blogging lately) to Myrtle Beach. I went with 3 of my girlfriends for a long weekend to the beach. I'm so blessed to have a husband that encourages me to do things with my friends and get away for a while. Thanks Chad!!!! We had a great time and the weather was awesome!!! We sunned on the beach, shopped and ate at some great places. Pretty toes(perfectly painted by Jenni!)

4-H Fair

The Whitley County 4-H Fair was a couple weeks ago so we checked it out. Chase loved the tractors!! We also checked out the animals but not sure he was too interested. Remember these are mommy's old stompin grounds so I'm hoping he'll like it in the future. Daddy's hoping for summer baseball I think. :) Don't forget the best part of the fair(well my favorite anyway) is the ice cream!!! We stopped all week for a daily shake! Enjoy!

Sprinkler Fun

Chase got a new sprinkler for his birthday and he LOVES it! Thanks Sefton family for the great gift. The sprinkler we bought earlier this summer was leaking anyway so it was time for a new one!!! The old sprinkler. Chase would look at it and say "all done"
