Chase's chores

Chase has started doing some "chores" around the house. He loves to help daddy feed the cats, take out the trash and make coffee. He helps mommy put the clothes in the washer and clean the mirrors. We'll see how long it lasts that he "likes" doing these things.

One year ago

Wow! What an incredible year. One year ago(yesterday) my dad had a liver transplant. You sure wouldn't know it to look at him today. He is doing AWESOME!!! He went back to work after the first of the year and hasn't had a bit of trouble. We thank God everyday for my dad's life and are so grateful that we get to spend time with him. What an amazing answer to prayer! We love you Pa Pa!!!!! Dad and Mom May 2008

Are you kidding me mom?

I got out my Halloween/fall bin today and found these glasses. I put them on Chase(during breakfast mind you) purely for entertainment purposes, turns out he didn't really care for them. Probably because you can barely see through them. Hard to believe fall is almost here. Are you really taking my picture in these things? I'm trying to eat!

So much fun

Chase loves to play the "let's dump out all the balls but I won't help pick them up" game. I try to hide the balls in the other room but never fails he finds them and dumps them everywhere. So we leave them out all day because he would just do it again if we pick them up. Then when it's bedtime, guess who picks them up? Mommy and Daddy. Chase is getting better but he tries to shoot them back in the basket and makes more of a mess usually. Today he decided to carry the basket into the living room to dump them and I caught it on camera.

Pony rides

The library had free pony rides this week so we checked it out. Chase went around once on the pony but didn't want to go again. When we got ready to leave though, and he decided he would go again. The second time around he rode the donkey. These same people will be at Hilgers for the fall festival so maybe we'll try again then. First time around...not too sure about this.

My brother is 30 today!

Today is my brother Jason's 30th birthday....I turned 28 yesterday. So to celebrate we surprised Jason at his favorite(mine too) place to eat on Saturday. We had a great time!!! Happy birthday Jason!Happy birthday to us!
Jason, Leslie and the Jaggers(Jason didn't know they were coming) Ryan, Jamie, Matthew, Rhonda and Trudy were there also but unfortunately I didn't get their pictures. Thanks for coming everyone!

There are beep beep's at Kroger

Saturday we all went grocery shopping (usually Chad and Chase go) at Kroger. Chase and Daddy already knew about this but Mommy discovered there were beep beep's at the store. Chase loved to ride in it, but let me tell ya those suckers are hard to push. I'm so thankful that Chad does the grocery shopping!!! Thanks Chad!

ZOO

We went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Blakley last weekend. It was so much fun! Chase got to ride the train and got some cool toys and a new hat at the gift shop. Thanks Mom and Dad!!! Chase rode the train with his grandparents
